General Manager

Sinfonia Toronto invites applications for the position of General Manager.

Sinfonia Toronto is a chamber orchestra of thirteen players entering its twelfth season. It presents a seven-concert Masterpiece Series in Glenn Gould Studio as well as regional and community-outreach performances. In November 2008 the orchestra toured in Germany and in October it will tour Spain for three weeks. It has released recordings on an ST CD, Marquis Classics (EMI), Cambria and iTunes.

The successful candidate will have previous management experience in the non-profit sector; a passion for music; excellent communication skills, including social media; demonstrated proficiency in traditional marketing/promotion and e-marketing, finance, grant writing and fundraising.
